ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ University is pleased toÌýannounceÌýthe recipients of its prestigious Alumni Medal including:

  • Ara Bagdasarian '78 (Solon, OH), President and Co Founder of Solon Community Living & Retired Executive Vice President of TravelCenters of America;
  • A.J. Cianflocco, M.D., '72 (Rocky River, OH), Retired, Team Physician of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Staff Physician at Cleveland Clinic;
  • Howard "Hoddy" Hanna III '69 (Pittsburgh, PA), Chairman of Howard Hanna Real Estate Services, Inc.;
  • Kathy (Coffey) Kenny '77 (University Heights, OH), Head of School at Gilmour Academy;
  • Terri (Kluesener) Lewandowski '78Ìý(Columbus, OH), Retired, Director of Global Production ServicesÌýfor the American Chemical Society

The Alumni Medal is the highest award given annually by the ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ University Alumni Association. It recognizes an individual’s accomplishments in their profession, contributions to their community, exemplary family and personal life, and dedicated service to ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ University post-graduation.Ìý

The JCU Alumni Association alsoÌýnamedÌýDany Diaz Mejia '11 (Tegucigalpa, Honduras)Ìýas its Young Alumni Award recipient. He is theÌýHonduras Country Representative of the United States Institute of Peace.

Lastly, the JCU Alumni Association also namedÌýRon Sertz '69 (Erie, PA), as the Rev. William Bichl, S.J. Alumni Volunteer Service Award recipient. He is a retired Sports Executive.
