The Policy Review Committee is charged with reviewing staff policies, posting new policies, and proposing revisions. 

The University intends to update our staff's vacation leave benefit policy so that all full-time employees, both hourly and salaried, will earn vacation at the same accrual rate.  This change will happen on January 1, 2025, the start of our benefit calendar year.  

The HR Policy committee has revised the policy to reflect these changes and is posting the revision to allow for community awareness, consideration, and comment.  The links to two versions of the policy are below, including a "clean" version that is easy to read, and a "marked-up" version so you can note what aspects of the policy have been updated for the January 1, 2025 effective date. 

The policy will be posted for a 30 day review period through Friday, September 20th.  Please use the link below to submit our questions and/or comments.
